Jakarta, 1 April 2024 – PT Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. (ticker code: ERAA), the largest handset distributor and retail company in Indonesia, announced audited financial report for the year of 2023 with positive revenue growth of 21.6% compared to the previous year. The Company also recorded profit after tax attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR 826.1 billion, in the midst of retail network expansion strategy by opening 629 new stores throughout 2023.
Some financial performance summaries can be seen as follows:
- Net sales in 2023 were IDR 60.1 trillion, a 21.6% increase from IDR 49.5 trillion in 2022.
- Gross profit increased by 20.3% to IDR 6.45 trillion, with a margin of 10.7%, align with the sales growth.
- In 2023, profit after tax attributable to owners of the parent entity owners was IDR 826.1 billion.

Erajaya sees this as an opportunity to expand its business verticals and retail network. Some significant initiatives we have undertaken include the introduction of new brands such as 6IXTY8IGHT and MST Golf under the vertical of Erajaya Active Lifestyle. We also expand our retail presence by opening 629 new stores in 2023."
Until the end of December 2023, Erajaya Group has 2,049 retail outlets operating in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. The company also has 97 distribution centers to support business operations and collaborates with over 70,000 third-party retail outlets. The expansion of the retail network aims to reach cities in Indonesia to fulfill demand from customers looking for products that complement their lifestyle from outlets operated by the Erajaya Group.
In addition to the development of retail offline channel, Erajaya Group continues to create online channels to meet customer demands through Eraspace e-commerce services, as well as being present on a number of well-known e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. The Company's CRM program, MyEraspace, already has close to 10 million members in 2023, representing a 50% increase over memberships in 2022.
Erajaya Group is continuously developing an omnichannel strategy that seamlessly integrates retail and online shopping experiences. Several omnichannel services that can be used by loyal customers include "Click N' Pickup," which allows customers who complete transactions online to pick up goods at the group retail offline channel, "Mobile Selling" for transactions via WhatsApp services, and "EraXpress," which delivers after-sales directly to the consumer's home.
Currently, Erajaya Group has four business verticals with different concentrations, including:
- Erajaya Digital
A business vertical that focus on selling and distributing handsets and consumer electronic goods in Indonesia, including the retail brands Erablue, Erafone, iBox, Samsung Store by NASA, Xiaomi Store, and many more. Erajaya Digital operated 1,836 stores located in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore by the end of December 2023.
- Erajaya Active Lifestyle
Business vertical that focus on selling and distributing active lifestyle products such as IoT, accessories, fashion, and sportswear. This vertical includes several retail brands, such as 6IXTY8IGHT, ASICS, DJI Experience Store, GARMIN Brand Store, IT (Immersive Tech) Store, JD Sports, MST Golf, Urban Adventure, and Urban Republic. By the end of December 2023, Erajaya Active Lifestye operated 116 stores.
- Erajaya Food & Nourishment
Business vertical that focus on food & beverage and grocery business, with retail brands like Paris Baguette and GrandLucky Superstore, as well as an investment in Sushi Tei. Erajaya Food & Nourishment operated 76 locations through the end of December 2023.
- Erajaya Beauty & Wellness.
Business vertical that focus on health, wellness, and beauty with retail brand such as Wellings Pharmacy and The Face Shop. Erajaya Beauty & Wellness operated 21 stores by the end of December 2023.
