Jakarta, 7 September 2026 – Carrying the spirit of “Closer, More Complete, Better,” erafone is expanding its contribution to education through the Digital Empowerment for Schools program, part of the erafone Shopping Festival (FBe) 2026. The initiative provides technology devices and supporting learning facilities to schools with limited access to digital infrastructure.
Through this program, erafone is conducting Basic Computer Training for teachers and/or students at SDN Gunung Geulis 01, Bogor. The training aims to help participants better understand and optimize the use of digital devices and technology to support their daily learning activities. Overall, the Digital Empowerment for Schools program will reach six schools across several regions in Indonesia, including Bogor, Banten, Bantul, Lumajang, Jayapura, and Parapat.
“Through the Digital Empowerment for Schools program, we want to bring the spirit of ‘Better’ from the erafone Shopping Festival into a meaningful contribution that creates a tangible impact on education. We believe digital empowerment is not only about providing devices, but also about ensuring that technology can be utilized effectively to support the learning and teaching process. That is why we provide both training and device support that can be used for educational purposes,” said Joy Wahjudi, CEO of Erajaya Digital.
As part of this initiative, erafone is also donating technology devices to support digital learning needs at SDN Gunung Geulis 01, Bogor. The donated devices include laptops, a TV, and other supporting learning equipment. This support is expected to help the school meet its digital learning facility needs while providing students and teachers with broader access to technology for educational activities.
Naldi Hendrawan, Head of Regional 1 Erajaya Digital, added, “We recognize that access to and utilization of technology in schools remains highly diverse, particularly in regional areas. Through Digital Empowerment for Schools, we aim not only to provide devices, but also to equip schools with the basic knowledge needed to utilize them effectively. We hope this support will create sustainable benefits and help schools develop digital-based learning activities.”
“This kind of support means a great deal to us, as it helps the school provide learning facilities that are more aligned with today’s technological developments. In addition to the devices provided, the basic computer training also gives us practical knowledge that can be directly applied to teaching and learning activities. We hope this program will continue to benefit both teachers and students at SDN Gunung Geulis 01,” said Raden Muhammad Soleh, S.Pd., Principal of SDN Gunung Geulis 01, Bogor.
The program is part of erafone’s commitment to creating a broader positive impact through the erafone Shopping Festival 2026. In line with the spirit of “Closer, More Complete, Better,” erafone not only offers customers engaging experiences and attractive deals, but also seeks to share meaningful benefits through initiatives that address the needs of the wider community.
