Jakarta, March 20, 2021 - EMIL (Erajaya Micro-Learning) held a Batch I Field Work Practice (PKL) program in February-April 2021. The PKL participants were 8 students of SMK Business and Management from SMKN 47 Jakarta. The PKL program is one of the points of collaboration between Erajaya Group and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, especially the Vocational School for Business and Management.
PKL as one of the requirements for graduation of vocational students must still be done during this pandemic. By carrying out the concept of blended learning using online and offline methods, EMIL PKL runs intensively for approximately 2 months. The PKL curriculum is divided into 3 parts, namely: Service Excellence, Office Administration, and Digital Business. In February, participants received interactive learning and online activities. Then on entering the 2nd week of March, the participants began to carry out OJT (On Job Training), both in stores and in offices while still implementing health protocols.
In the Service Excellence section, EMIL PKL participants are required to understand and be able to practice the competencies an ERO (Erajaya Representative Officer) must have. After getting material in class online, the participants made observations in several stores in several places. In addition, the participants also made group videos about 8 Stars, which is the material to become a good and excellent ERO. Same with the Office Administration and Digital Business.
The EMIL PKL program received appreciation from the PKL participants as a PKL concept that was able to answer this challenge without reducing the essence and quality of the PKL graduate participants themselves. The participants also admitted that they were very happy to get PKL at EMIL Erajaya. Suci, one of the participant said that she became confident and saw how to be a good and excellent salesperson. PKL at EMIL have more information about technology and business, the knowledge and practices obtained are very useful and related to their needs. In the future, the EMIL PKL Program will be implemented again in Batch II in the September-November 2021 period with wider coverage and participants. Hopefully, EMIL can continue to contribute to the world of education in Indonesia, especially SMK.
