Jakarta, 22 July 2023 - Erajaya Group announced a collaboration with 49 vocational education units (SPV) from Sumatra to Sulawesi which focuses on increasing vocational competence to be ready to enter the business industry, especially the retail business. This collaboration is part of the Erajaya Group partnership program with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) through the Mitras DUDI Directorate.
This was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement by Mr. Dadang Sudibyo as the Head of Employee & Industrial Relations of PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk with the representative of the principal or dean of the SPV. The signing of this collaboration was witnessed by Ms. Kiki Yuliati as Director General of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Mr. Uuf Brajawidagda as Acting Director of DUDI Partners of the Ministry of Education and Culture, and Mr. Jimmy Perangin Angin as Chief Human Capital, Legal and CSR PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk in Building D Ministry of Education and Culture, on Friday (21/7)
Jimmy Perangin Angin, Chief Human Capital, Legal, and CSR of Erajaya, said, "The signing of this collaboration is a realization of Erajaya Group's commitment to encouraging an even distribution of competence for SPVs from various regions in Indonesia. We are very enthusiastic about the synergy that will be established with 4 Vocational Colleges and 45 Vocational High Schools. We hope that this collaboration can encourage the birth of vocational graduates who have the potential and can make a positive contribution to the retail industry. In the future, we will implement an optimal and continuous program with SPV regarding curriculum, fieldwork practices, and opportunities for vocational education graduates to have careers in the Erajaya business unit."

The signing of this collaboration is a continuation and response from SPV for the Industrial Series Vocational program which was implemented last May by the Ministry of Education and Culture through the Mitras DUDI Directorate, where Erajaya Group became one of the first industrial partners to provide education, outreach, and exposure to vocational development programs. Going forward, this collaboration will last for the next 3 (three) years with the following scope:
- Alignment of industry-based curriculum, increasing competency for educators, education staff, and students
- Provision of guest educators from the World of Business and Industry (DUDI) in vocational education units
- Development and utilization of facilities and infrastructure
- Competency certification for educators, education staff, and students
- Field work practice and/or apprenticeship
- Recruitment of vocational education graduates
- Applied joint research
