Jakarta, 15 June 2022 – Emil Field Work Practice Program (Erajaya Micro-Learning), which is one of the superior programs of the Nation Erajaya Cares Foundation, a non-profit institution from PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk, in the period March - June 2022 has graduated 24 Batch 3 students from SMK 47 & SMK 48 Department of Business & Management. This program aims to facilitate the needs of the world of vocational education to get learning and direct work experience. This is one of the manifestations of the Pillar of the Erajaya Care Lantern, the Smart Lentera. Previously, Erajaya had released 78 students of Emil PKL graduates in 2021. In contrast to the previous 2 dominant batches using online methods, on this batch, they got the opportunity to be directly involved in the in-store training activities and became the Erafone Representative Officer (ERO) at 4 Erafone Stores in Jakarta for 2 weeks under the guidance of trainers and seniors in the field.
Jimmy Perangin Angin, Chief Human Capital, Legal and CSR, said, "This program is part of the commitment of the social responsibility of the Erajaya Group which is integrated with business strategy. At present, PKL activities through the Emil platform have been carried out offline, namely involving participants entering directly into the In-Store Training activities and can practice their learning outcomes. This activity is expected to be able to prepare participants to enter the business world & the industrial world after graduation later."
After graduating from vocational high school, the participants of this program also got the opportunity specifically to join as employees in the Erajaya Group with learning provisions and experiences that have been obtained since the school bench through the Emil program.
Cantika, one of the street vendors who had participated in PKL, said, "It is very fun to follow the street vendors organized by the Erajaya Group because until now there has never been a street vendor carried out in the retail gadget brand industry. Through this program, I get experience to study and offer the latest gadget products by face to face directly to customers, where the experience is an unforgettable new experience for me. The experience that I get is my provision to be able to plunge into the real world of work. "
In addition to facilitating street vendors, the Emil program also contributes to absorbing vocational graduates directly in schools through the Emil recruitment program, such as cooperation carried out with SMK 47 Jakarta in early June 2022. The Emil team has the opportunity to attend, share and recruit employees for The alumni in the release of class XII students.
Emil (Erajaya Micro-Learning) is part of corporate social responsibility in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture with the aim of supporting students and teachers to learn new expertise/knowledge, get additional assistance outside of school/campus, and develop certain expertise in preparing competent workforce.
