Jakarta, July 19, 2021 - In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1431 H, Erajaya Group again carried out social care actions for the surrounding community and employees. This time, Erajaya Group distributed sacrificial animals in the form of 3 cows and 6 goats to the community in Pekojan Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta. This activity is a Corporate Social Responsibility program that is routinely carried out by Erajaya Group every year. This sacrificial animal was symbolically handed over to the Pekojan Village Head, Polsek representatives, PPSU, Koramil representatives, mosque representatives around Erajaya Plaza, and Gedong Panjang on July 19, 2021 at the Pekojan Village Office. with the Covid-19 prevention health protocol by each qurban committee. People who receive sacrificial animals are underprivileged people who live in Pekojan Village.
The distribution of qurban animal meat is also done door to door to 720 underprivileged families in the Pekojan area by the committee considering the PPKM situation which requires not to carry out activities that have the potential for crowds and community mobility. This year's Eid al-Adha 1442H is the second year of Eid al-Adha in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Different from previous years, this time coincided with the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in various regions in Indonesia. However, this certainly does not dampen the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of all of us to make sacrifices, as a form of gratitude and sharing with our brothers and sisters who need our help and helping hand.
