Jakarta, 02 October 2026 – As it celebrates its 30th anniversary, Erajaya Group continues to transform from a telecommunications device distribution company into a smart lifestyle retailer, with a business portfolio spanning various verticals, including Digital, Active Lifestyle, and Food & Nourishment. As of the first half of 2026, Erajaya operates more than 2,500 stores across Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia, supported by more than 22,000 employees and an ecosystem of 18.4 million MyEraspace members. This transformation is further marked by Erajaya’s partnerships with more than 30 world-class brands, strengthening its business portfolio across various categories.
Erajaya’s business expansion continued throughout the first half of 2026 with the addition of 173 new stores. Of its overall network, Erajaya Digital operates 1,920 stores, followed by Erajaya Active Lifestyle with 256 stores and Erajaya Food & Nourishment with 90 stores. Meanwhile, Erajaya’s international network in Singapore and Malaysia comprises 240 stores. The expansion of its network across various categories has also increased the contribution of businesses beyond the digital category, which accounted for approximately 12% of the Group’s total sales in the first half of 2026. In FY2025, Erajaya recorded annual sales of Rp76 trillion.
Budiarto Halim, President Director & Group CEO of Erajaya, said that Erajaya’s 30-year journey has been shaped by technological changes and increasingly diverse consumer needs. These developments have encouraged the company to expand its business beyond the digital category by offering a broader range of products and services that are increasingly relevant to consumers’ everyday lives.
“Erajaya today is the result of our journey and measured diversification efforts to respond to the dynamics of consumer needs. We have developed each vertical, from Erajaya Digital and Erajaya Active Lifestyle to Erajaya Food & Nourishment, not merely to expand our business portfolio, but because we see their relevance in consumers’ everyday lives. We want to be present not only when consumers need digital devices, but also through a diverse range of lifestyle needs and experiences. The growing contribution of non-digital verticals to the Group’s performance reflects that these developments are beginning to make a tangible contribution to Erajaya’s business,” said Budiarto.
Reading Consumer Trends through Global Partnerships and an Omnichannel Ecosystem
From digital devices to electric vehicles, fashion, apparel and sporting goods, as well as food & beverage, Erajaya consistently brings a diverse range of products and new experiences across various categories through partnerships with leading global brands. Through Erajaya Active Lifestyle, for example, the Group has expanded its portfolio by introducing XPENG in the electric vehicle category, GENTLEWOMAN in fashion, as well as ANTA, Under Armour, and Wilson in the sports category.
Within the Erajaya Food & Nourishment vertical, Erajaya has expanded its portfolio through CHAGEE, while preparing to introduce I’m donut? and Oriental Kopi to Indonesia. The presence of these global brands reflects Erajaya’s efforts to respond to consumers’ growing interest in a wider range of choices across technology, lifestyle, and food & beverage categories. This diversification therefore not only expands the Group’s business footprint, but also brings brands that are relevant to consumers’ evolving preferences and needs.
“Changes in consumer preferences serve as our primary compass in moving forward and developing Erajaya’s business. Through partnerships with various brands, we strive to offer products and experiences that are relevant to consumer needs, both in the digital and lifestyle categories. We see that the spectrum of consumer needs is becoming increasingly diverse, and as a result, Erajaya’s role has evolved beyond simply providing products in a single category to becoming a partner that complements various aspects of consumers’ everyday lives,” said Budiarto.
This portfolio development is strongly supported by Erajaya’s omnichannel ecosystem, which integrates its physical store network, digital platforms, and customer loyalty ecosystem, Eraspace. This integration provides consumers with the flexibility to discover and experience products directly in stores, while also enabling them to seek information, compare options, and transact through digital channels. Through the synergy between interconnected retail networks and digital channels, Erajaya has expanded consumer access to a wide range of brands and superior shopping experiences across every touchpoint.
Strengthening Sustainability Commitments through Impactful Initiatives
Alongside its business development, Erajaya Group continues to strengthen its sustainability commitment through various initiatives covering environmental conservation, internal and external human capital development, and electronic waste management. This journey is reflected in increasingly structured programs focused on creating measurable impact for the environment and society.
In the environmental sector, Wana Erajaya is a conservation and carbon offsetting initiative focused on ecosystem restoration, biodiversity protection, and climate change mitigation through reforestation and sustainable forest management. The program has the potential to contribute approximately 1,922 tCO2e in carbon emissions offsets.
In education and human capital development, the Erajaya Vocational Strengthening & Collaboration Program strengthens synergies between the education sector and the retail industry by equipping young people with work experience and competencies relevant to current industry needs. Since 2019, the program has demonstrated significant growth, reaching more than 3,000 students through vocational training and establishing partnerships with 221 schools across 29 provinces.
Meanwhile, through Erajaya Sustainable Gadget, the company promotes responsible electronic waste (e-waste) management by prioritizing circular economy principles and a transparent recycling chain. Initiatives such as erafone Jaga Bumi and Urban Republic Zero Waste provide e-waste collection points at various retail locations, as well as through collaborations at company events, while also encouraging greater consumer awareness and participation in e-waste management. A total of 4,238 damaged or unused gadgets have been recycled by recycling partners since the program was launched in 2024.
“For us, sustainability is an integral part of Erajaya’s growth strategy to create broader value and impact. Through environmental initiatives, vocational education, and electronic waste management, we want to ensure that the foundation and business capabilities built over the past 30 years can also deliver tangible benefits to society and the environment. Going forward, we are committed to continuously developing these initiatives in line with our business growth, regulatory developments, and stakeholder expectations,” continued Budiarto.
Entering the Next Phase of Growth
The spirit of continuous transformation serves as the foundation for Erajaya’s 30th anniversary celebration, which carries the theme “Towards the Next Era – A Legacy of Innovation, a Future of Possibilities.” Through the spirit of #EranyaKita, Erajaya reaffirms its commitment to being increasingly present in consumers’ everyday lives by offering products, services, and customer experiences that support diverse lifestyle needs, from technology and productivity to sports activities, shopping, and spending quality time together.
As it enters its next decade, Erajaya will continue to strengthen the foundation of its core businesses while exploring new growth opportunities across various lifestyle segments. Expansion will be pursued selectively and in a measured manner, taking into consideration market opportunities, strategic alignment, growth potential, and the company’s capabilities.
As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, Erajaya is presenting various promotional programs and special offers through the end of the year as a form of appreciation to consumers who have been part of the Group’s journey.
“If the first 30 years were about building our foundation and demonstrating our ability to adapt, then the next phase is about taking that legacy toward greater possibilities. We want Erajaya to continue growing, not only in terms of scale, but also in relevance, resilience, and sustainability. We want to remain a trusted partner for brands, a relevant choice for consumers, and a place where our stakeholders can grow. This is the spirit behind Towards the Next Era,” concluded Budiarto.
