IJ), one of the largest handset distributor and retail companies in Indonesia, inaugurated the construction of a distribution center which will be the spearhead of Erajaya Group's supply chain strategy in the future. The construction of these modern facilities is important to anticipate the company's business growth from the existing four business verticals, namely Erajaya Digital, Erajaya Active Lifestyle, Erajaya Food & Nourishment and Erajaya Beauty & Wellness.

The inauguration of the distribution center located in the Griya Idola Industrial Park Complex, Cikupa, Tangerang Regency was marked by the laying of the first stone and first pillar installation by the management of the Erajaya Group and witnessed by employees and other invited guests. This distribution center functions to collect and store products from suppliers then to be forwarded to level 1 distribution centers or regional distribution centers in the regions before being sent to the Erajaya Group outlet network, dealer partners, and consumers.
The facility will be equipped with modern equipment and capabilities such as freight elevators, gravity conveyors, warehousing management systems and storage space that can be developed flexibly to anticipate future needs. According to the plan, the distribution center will be fully-operated in early 2025.
The presence of a distribution center that stands on an area of 1.7 hectares will consolidate the warehousing and logistics processes in one location, offering advantages such a more efficient and shorter process. This ensures the capacity of the Erajaya Group to meet the needs of online and offline transactions, as well as support the company's omnichannel strategy. This in turn will provide a memorable and unforgettable customer shopping experience.
