Jakarta, 7 June 2024 – PT Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. (ticker code: ERAA), received the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate from the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia with a validity period of five years until 2029. This certificate was given as recognition to the Erajaya Group for fulfilling global supply chain security standards.

AEO certification is granted to economic operators involved in the movement of goods in the global supply chain who have received recognition by the national customs administration for meeting World Custom Organization standards or supply chain security standards. Currently there are only 166 companies in Indonesia that have AEO certificates from the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. To obtain this certificate, companies must go through a rigorous and time-consuming assessment process by regulators to meet the 13 criteria required for AEO certification.
The benefits of an AEO certificate are recognition of business practices as well as a number of conveniences in undergoing customs procedures, ease of unloading and/or direct loading, periodic payments, special services when there is disruption to the movement of logistics supplies and increasing threats, and other benefits
