Jakarta, March 5, 2025 - PT Aero Inovasi Media (PT AIM) introduces itself as a joint venture resulting from the collaboration between Agung Sedayu Group, Erajaya Active Lifestyle, and Salim Group. The company offers a new concept of spectacular performances by utilizing a massive number of drones. AIM aims to explore the potential of the aerial entertainment market by leveraging drones for commercial purposes.
Djohan Sutanto, President Director of PT Aero Inovasi Media, stated, “The collaboration that led to the establishment of PT AIM was formed by industry-leading companies aiming to develop and set the standard for drone shows in Indonesia. Through our drone performances, live audiences will not only be visually captivated but also create lasting memories. We are excited to collaborate with various industry players to utilize drone shows for commercial purposes such as marketing.”
PT AIM presents aerial performances featuring hundreds to thousands of drones maneuvering with high-precision choreography to create stunning light formations. This technology offers an innovative and creative marketing channel for brands while adding a unique attraction to support specific events. To achieve this, PT AIM collaborates with mahakaX, a creative digital media ecosystem, and Ubiklan, specializing in advertising and branding, to introduce and promote this service to potential clients.
PT AIM's drone show was previously held in conjunction with the 79th anniversary celebration of the Indonesian National Armed Forces on October 5, 2024, centered at the National Monument (Monas). The event was witnessed live by the President of the Republic of Indonesia at the time, Joko Widodo. A total of 800 drones were flown in the morning, followed by another 800 drones in the evening to entertain the audience.
Additionally, 1,500 drones were deployed simultaneously on September 28, 2024, to celebrate the commencement of the upper structure construction of the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) mega project at Pantai Indah Kapuk 2. During this event, the drones formed various stunning formations, including a flying dragon and other captivating displays.
